Mommy & Colby's Day Of Fun!

Yesterday was Mommy and Colby's Day of Fun!
Yes, I called it that the whole day.
And you know what?! We had a freaking blast!
The day started off with C's 18 month old doctor appointment.
No fun for him or Mama.
One shot and an interesting update but more on that later.
But we got through the appointment and then it was off to the Glazer Children's Museum.
After that he let Mama do some shopping, had lunch and then we both napped.
I love a good nap day!

Little did he know he was about to play his little heart out.
He was in charge and got to do whatever he wanted at the Museum.
He led the way.
First up was Tug Boat Tots.
He got to run around and do whatever without giving this Mama a heart attack by touching everything in site.
Because that's exactly what you are supposed to do at this place.
Touch everything in site.
What itty bitty toddler wouldn't love this right?

They had so many fun toys that were larger than life.
And the best part was that they were all clean.
I am a germophob (or however you spell that word) which is kinda ridiculous when you have a toddler because they touch literally everything and then...put it in their mouths.
Awesome.
But this place was spotless clean.
He could have ate his lunch of the floor and I wouldn't have thought twice about it.

Oh and the water play.
This was C's fav!
They give you little rain jackets to put on so the kids don't get soaked.
It was of course huge on his little self but he looked adorable in it.
Wish I knew about the dang rain coats the first go around because he came back soaked.
I mean pants looked and felt like he peed in them.
Oh well.. he had fun so I didn't really care too much.
It was Mommy & Colby's day of fun and no holds bars.

They had a cute little Publix and Vet Clinic.

The Vet Clinic was his favorite of the two.
They had little kennels with doggies that you got to take care of and look at x-rays and  take care of the sick doggies.
He liked petting the doggie and giving him a bone.
Surprisingly he didn't try and climb in the kennel with the dogs.
But he did try to close several girls in them..haha.

Needless to say we both had a ball.
He took a three hour nap.
Mommy's & Colby's day of fun was a success.

with valentine's day just around the corner,
i can't help but get excited to over-indulge in everything sweet.
sweet kisses. sweet love notes. sweet treats.
a little extra sugar is a definite.
and it is a day to shower our sweeties with extra sweetness.

i was trying to think of the perfect valentine's day gift for my hubby,
and i am pretty sure every man is up for a little whoopie.
whoopie pies, ladies.
the perfect treat for your sweetie.

but us gals need some love, too.
i am a big believer that we need to treat ourselves
to a little valentines day treat.
and in my book, that means shopping.
why not spoil ourselves with a little valentines day outfit?

i am totally digging the pink & red combo.
color blocking cotton candy pink hues
and cherry reds is so chic.
and it is the perfect get up for a valentines day date.

doesn't that pop of pink & red just blow your mind?
it is so fresh. so energized. so juicy.
i am over the moon for this combo.

kate spade always gets it right.
check out this little get-up

how sweet is this?
i am dying over the pink top.
the jeweled bow around the collar is so stinkin cute.
this just screams
will you be my valentine?

i am coveting this little outfit, too.
this red kate spade top has little bows on the sleeves.
i love how sweet and feminine this is.

we all know that j.crew never, ever fails
when it comes to comfy, casual tops.
and i may just have to run out for this one.

the perfect shade of bubblegum pink.
be mine.

paired with this red bauble necklace.

and these red and pink shoes
a la talbots

pair that top, necklace, and ballet flats with your fave skinny jeans...
and you've got the makings for a perfect valentine's day outfit.

so, load on some extra mascara.
bat those lashes.
pucker up a pink pout.
&
have the sweetest day of all.

hope to see you all over at c'est si bon.

See Click Fix {App Love}

As most of you know I am addicted to my new Droid.
I love it!
And what I love is finding useful Apps.
Ya know, the kiddy ones...
"Toddler Lock, Talking Tom, Elmo Sounds, ABC Flash Card"
to the Cheryl ones...
"Target, Coupons, Evernote, Shopkick, HeyTell, Retro Camera, Ebay, etc"

Well, I ran across this App today while browsing Facebook (article found here).
It's called See Click Fix.

And it's specifically for the Pinellas County area (it automatically picks your county via GPS).
You see a problem with the County, click a picture and send it to them with a description.
How cool is that?
They then report the problem to the correct agency and they hopefully fix it.

Now, if you have ever been to our house before you know all about the dang parked traffic on the side of the street problem we have.
Well, this little lady is going to be snapping away (might happen to accidentally get some offenders license plates in the picture too...whoops) later.
We are so sick of having to drive around in a maze and squeeze around to just to get to our house.
It's simply ridiculous.

I hope I will be able to use it for other good uses too but of course this one came to my mind first.
Oh yes, Jared is going to love me for this one.

So go ahead and tap on over to your Market and DL See Click Fix.
It will help make our county a better one.

Time Out

All pics via Pinterest

Oh itty bitty sweet faced baby where did you go? I think you are in that little body of yours somewhere but you rarely come out to play anymore. Instead we all get to hear you screaming to "It's My Way Or The Highway". The problem is that you still have this cute little face. Mama can't resist a cute face, just ask Daddy. So when you yell at us because we didn't let you have Mama's huge glass of wine it's hard not to laugh, because you are so darn cute. And you even do this thing where you stick out your bottom lip and it quivers like crazy. It's adorable. Sorry.

But Mama will not take you doing the dreaded word...."Hitting". No Sir! Mama does not like to be hit. And why dont you hit Daddy. You know he is the one that continues to dunk your hair head in the bath tub and the water gets in your eyes. So if anyone should be getting the wrath of you it would be him...just sayin.

Before you never did anything bad enough to constitute an official "Time Out" but now you are getting old enough to no you shouldn't hit or do certain things. So sorry sweet face boy when you hit mama you are going to Time Out.

This breaks Mama's heart. To hear you scream for a minute straight is like putting hot fire pokers in my heart. I dont like seeing my sweet face my new found opinionated toddler sad. But baby love just do what I say and you won't have to go in time out. Or make mommy sad ever.

So from now on lets make a pact to just do what mama says with no questions asked ok.
Deal.
Now all we need to do is getting daddy in on the "do what mommy says with no questions asked".
I think he will be more of a challenge then you.

30 Is The New 20

Let me first start off by gushing and saying I have the best friends ever!
They made my 30th birthday so much fun and I am so glad to have each one of them in my life!

Now, lets go on about all the fun that was had.
First up was lunch at an amazing Mexican place that has heavens juices...AKA Sangria!

After lunch we stumbled back to our hotel and tried desperately not to take naps.
I know this mama would have taken a nap if they would have let me, but nope its party time so we went downstairs to the outside bar to have some drinks.
And my BFF joined!!!
Hi Kiks!

Next up, P-A-R-T-Y-TIME!!
We went to dinner at this delish Italian place.
I am sure you see a trend here...we like to eat.
Our whole weekend was revolved around eating.
Its my weakness what can I say.
After eating our 5th meal of the day we headed to some clubs.

Here I am in my party dress and my champagne!
Toasting to 30..ugh.

These are only some of the girls that hit up the clubs with us.

Kiks joined us at midnight and boy did the party kick off then.
It's quite the story...maybe ill share it at another time.

This 30 year old had a great time!!
I have no clue how people party their face off every weekend.
But it was a great time and the partying can hold me over for about another year.

So I am saying goodbye to my 20's and hello to my 30's.
I am sure my 30's are going to be one heck of a ride and I cant wait!
And I would just like to say 30 is the new 20!
